Our 2nd Annual Living the Dream Gala was such an incredible night and we are so thankful that you were able to join us!
The evening emcee, Cynthia, shared stories of Marc, TCRP, and her journey in recovery. LaTricia stood alongside Jeremy Drucker as he spoke on behalf of Minneapolis Mayor, Jacob Frey.
Through the Power of Peers we learned about Marc’s legacy, vision, and dreams for TCRP and highlighted three individuals that have lived experience to how TCRP has helped impact their life.
Daniel Weckman was the recipient of Living the Dream Award, and Anissa Keyes was the recipient of Change Maker Award.
Dora Wright recalled when years ago she stopped by the Twin Cities Recovery Project and met a man, a man that was so kind. That man was Marc. Marc reached into his pocket and handed her some money, she tried to give it back and he said no. “This is community, Marc believed in community, he believed in saving lives. The dream is alive, he is alive!”
