Our Peer-2-Peer Recovery Development Academy is a 5-day training, Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 am until 6:00 pm daily. There is a mandatory graduation ceremony that happens on Saturday, April 1st from 2-4pm where participants will get their certificate of completion. All participants should be aware of this ahead of time to give themselves enough notice to take time off of work, school, or any other responsibilities. We are not able to excuse anyone for appointments made prior to applying for the training, you will be expected to reschedule any prior engagements before attending the training.
Each day will consist of lectures, guest speakers, slideshows, interactive activities, and in-depth class discussions on different topics relating to things that you may run into while working in the recovery field. Everyone attending training will be expected to bring their own lunch, or buy lunch somewhere in the area and give themselves a sufficient amount of time to eat.
